近几年,随着高炉冶炼的不断强化,延长高炉炉体寿命已成为炼铁生产中急待解决的突出问题。为此,冶金部钢铁司、中国金属学会和炼铁情报网于1987年7月15日至7月19日在承德钢铁厂联合召开了延长高炉寿命及钒钛矿护炉研讨会。来自全国生产、科研、设计和高等院校等54个单位共118名代表参加了会议。会议交流论文资料50余篇,宣读论文24篇。内容有:新型球墨铸铁冷却壁、软水闭路循环、碳化硅炉衬及监测等多方面的设计和实践经验;攀钢、承钢、武钢、重钢、湘钢,柳钢等厂钒钛矿冶炼或护炉的实践经验以及一些企业、院校对钒钛矿护炉机理研究的初步成果。与会代表就延长高炉炉体寿命(炉身及炉缸、炉底)和含钛物料护炉两个专题进行了深入的讨论,取得了比较一致的意见,并形成了会议纪要(冶金部已行文发至各有关
