后进生主要表现在对数学有恐惧感、数学成绩不理想等方面,转化初中数学后进生主要是培养学生对数学的学习兴趣,消除厌学心理,帮助学生用正确的方法理解数学和运用数学。对于初中数学教师来说,帮助后进生的转化也是教学任务的难点和重点,教师要转换观念,更新教育方法,努力使数学后进生摆脱学困的头衔,成为全面发展的学生。
