贝藻间养,同农作物间作套种一样,是提高单位面积产量,降低生产成本,增加收益的有效措施,也是养殖方法上的一项改革。贝藻间养分“绳间间养”和“区间套养”两种,前者是在一行浮筏上藻贝间挂,后者是在藻类或贝类比较密集海区进行的间隔套养。 1975年,蓬莱县进行贝藻间养试验获得成功。1980年,全县4000多亩海带间养了820亩贻贝,海带总产创历史最高水平,产值349万元,贻贝产值44.8万元,两项合计总产值达到390多万元,纯收入194万元,平均每个劳力创纯益1900多元。几年来的实践证明,贝藻间养是一种合理的、科学的养殖方法,凡实
