《红楼梦》的宗教内涵贯穿始终,不过由于中英语言和文化之间的巨大差异,翻译起来难度很大。本文就《红楼梦》王际真的两个节译本中第一回宗教术语的翻译进行讨论,以期能对今后的翻译研究和实践提供有益的借鉴。
The religious connotation of “Dream of Red Mansions” runs through, but due to the huge differences between Chinese and English languages and cultures, it is very difficult to translate. This article discusses the translation of the first religious terms in Wang Jie’s two verses of A Dream of Red Mansions with a view to providing useful reference for future translation studies and practice.
