我厂十多年来一直生产丰收—35马力拖拉机变速箱总成。由于变速箱壳体加工工序繁多,所以旧有的专用设备一直提不高产量,质量也不稳定,远不能适应多造拖拉机、造好拖拉机的实际需要。我们遵照毛主席关于“独立自主,自力更生”的伟大教导,实行工人、干部、技术人员三结合,依靠自己的力量搞成了两台铣、钻、攻、铰三工位移动工作台式组合机床。这两台机床自1975年底投产使用以来,加工质量稳定,生产效率大大提高,解决了变速箱壳体加工个别工序的薄弱环节,深受工人欢迎。

In line with Chairman Mao’s great teaching on “independence and self-reliance,” we implemented the combination of workers, cadres and technicians, and relied on our own strength to make two mobile workbench combination machine tools for milling, drilling, attacking and reaming. Since the two machine tools were put into operation at the end of 1975, the processing quality has been steadily improved and the production efficiency has been greatly enhanced. The weak links in the individual process of the gearbox casing have been solved and are very popular with the workers.
