Thin-film thermistor heat emitters made by vacuum evaporation have been used in the automotive industry for infrared absorption HC / CO gas analyzers. As a detector, the thermistor thermal radiation detector is characterized by the ability to detect light with a small reception area, compactness and robustness, and its wavelength sensitivity is flat (for use in long wave zones). None of the previous condenser microphones and photoconductive elements used as detectors have these features. This article discusses a new HC / CO gas analyzer, thermistor thermal radiometer manufacturing method and its characteristics.
