几年来,作为公共图书馆网的最末稍网点——街道图书馆(室)在各级政府的关怀下有了一定的发展。本文仅此就沈河区街道图书馆的发展状况谈些粗浅看法。一、巩固和加强街道图书馆(室)建设的必要性和重要性加快街道图书馆(室)建设是公共图书馆事业发展的当务之急,应引起各级领导的重视。就中国的国情来看,只靠中央、省、市、区四级图书馆网的服务工作,是满足不了人民群众日益增长的文化需要的,必须发掘街道图书馆这一层次。

The Necessity and Importance of Consolidating and Strengthening the Construction of Street Libraries (Rooms) Speeding up the construction of street libraries (rooms) is a top priority for the development of public libraries and should be given the attention of leaders at all levels. From the perspective of China’s national conditions, it is necessary to rely on the service work of the library networks at the central, provincial, municipal and district levels to meet the ever-increasing cultural needs of the people and to explore the level of street libraries.
