“60 Years of New China: Reform and Development” Symposium was held on October 22 in Bangkok, capital of Thailand. Experts and scholars from two leading universities, namely, Peking University in China and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand gathered together to talk about the brilliant course of 60 years of reform and development since the founding of new China. Thai Princess Sirindhorn attended the seminar and delivered a speech. She is pleased to present her themed “Celebration of Chinese-Thai Happiness” and expresses the Thai people’s best wishes for the 60th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China.
