魏书生从1986年当校长以来,就一直要求政教处把互助组工作落到实处。即每个教学班的倒数第一、第二、第三名学生都要由政教处给他们找一位任课老师或学校领导,师生组成互助组。老师帮助学生超越自我、管理自我、学会学习;学生帮助老师提高教育教学的技能。每个学期,互助组要向政教处交三份互助报告:期初、期中、期末各交一份。互助报告上要写清学生对老师的期望,老师帮助学生进步的具体措施,班主任对学生变化的评价。
