近年来,大型气体压缩机在运转期间,常出现主轴早期断裂的情况。1Г-266/320和2ШЛК-1420型压缩机,一般在曲柄下面直径为460毫米的轴颈以及直径为330毫米的曲柄销圆角处产生裂缝。锯去裂缝处的金属通常并不能使情况改善,因为在运转时还会有新的裂纹发展起来,这就导致曲柄或曲柄销断裂。压缩机的运转资料表明,转数从125转/分提高到150转/分,使作用在曲柄销上的力增加了20吨左右。因此主轴的寿命将显著降低。
