早在1991年11月,当石零与我同为中国电视艺术代表团成员访问日本时,他就兴奋地对我说:“中国戏剧出版社已答应为我出本电视剧文学剧本集,请阁下给舞弄篇序吧!”我当时只是打心眼里替他高兴,却并未把“舞弄篇序”之类的事放在心上。其所以如此,是因为时下作“序”之事,一般是名人或前辈提携扶掖后学之举,往往冠之于书前而增加书的分量。我既非名人,又与石零兄同辈,且论成就与出息,都远在他之下;如今要我勉为其难,岂不反倒跌了他大作集的分量!于是我只当他的话乃系自谦,不过是要“弯弯绕”地将他出集子的喜讯拿来令我等眼红罢了。殊不知,新春伊始,除夕之夜,石零却从太原挂来长途电话,急匆匆逼要文债。挚友之情,却之不恭,这才害得我大年初一孤伏在书案前,为友情,更为我们共同钟爱的电视剧事业,写下这篇愧对石零兄大作的权且充“序”的陋文。不过,对出版社为电视剧作家出专集,我始终是举双手的赞成派。那缘由,是因为我们太需要建设一支又红又专的电视剧作家队伍了。在我国,小说有小说家队伍,戏剧有戏剧剧作家队伍,年产量百余部的电影也有电影剧作家队伍,而年产量已达五千集的电
