The 2nd China National Symposium on Steel Rolling Seminar was held in Ma On Shan from November 1 to 5, 1983. There were 19 research institutes, 6 design institutes, 17 higher education institutions and 144 representatives from 28 enterprises participating in the conference. The meeting summed up the exchange of the first rolling theory seminar since the main focus on expanding the varieties of steel, improve the quality of steel, energy saving and lower consumption of the current major steel rolling production technology issues, to carry out the rolling theory of research results.
