一九八○年十一月至十二月,我参加一机部组织的赴英国、爱尔兰、西德和荷兰考察组,对当前西欧的人造金刚石技术水平进行考察。在考察过程中,发现两种最新的超硬刀具,即戴比尔斯公司(De Beers)英国工业金刚石分部称为 SYNDITE(森待特)刀具和AMBORITE,(安布莱特)刀具的性能很好。它们分别用来切削坚硬的非金属材料和坚硬的铁族金属材料,如硅铝合金,钛合金、硅石,砂石和坚硬的低温钢,高速工具钢以及冷硬铸铁等。
From November to December 1980, I participated in a study tour to Britain, Ireland, West Germany and the Netherlands organized by a ministerial department to examine the current technological level of man-made diamonds in Western Europe. During the inspection, two new types of super-hard tools were discovered, namely the De Beers industrial diamond division called SYNDITE and AMBORITE, . They are used to cut hard non-metallic materials and hard ferrous metal materials such as silicon aluminum alloy, titanium alloy, silica, sand and hard low temperature steel, high-speed tool steel and chilled cast iron.
