自本刊去年第7期“新潮理论”专栏刊登梁小民教授的《为西方经济学正名》一文后,读者反应较为强烈.反对者有之,赞成者似乎更多一些.这里我们选载王则柯教授的一篇来稿,他基本上赞成梁小民先生的观点,但就“西方经济学”是否是一个科学概念提出商榷.读后颇感有新意.由此引发出我们一些零乱的联想:“东西方”区分究竟是个地理概念,还是个政治概念?根据通常的理解,似乎偏重于后者.若是,那么冷战结束后,两大阵营已不复存在,我们为什么还老是袭用那个时代的概念,那个时代的思路,那个时代的观点呢?王则柯教授主张用“现代经济学”概念替代“西方经济学”,主张在基本理论的层次上实行天下大一统.这确实也是一种有意思的思路.但似乎有些淡化了问题的个性.撇开姓“社”姓“资”不谈,不同的文化背景、不同的历史沿革、不同的价值观念、不同的发展阶段,也会形成截然不同的思维方式和截然不同的理论体系.如果全部将之统到诸如“现代经济学”、“当代经济学”或“20世纪经济学”等中性范畴之中,行不行?这些问题我们也没有想清楚,今后可能还要求教于王则柯教授及其他专家学者.总之,我们还是那句老话:“我们提倡说真话,提倡讲道理,提倡为社会主义现代化事业服务的宗旨.”除此之外,可能还要加上一句:“我们提倡自由讨论?
