2011年3月17日,中共北京市委统战部、北京市经济和信息化委员会、北京市人力资源和社会保障局、北京市工商行政管理局和北京市工商业联合会,共同开展了北京市第三届优秀中国特色社会主义事业建设者评选表彰活动,授予49名新的社会阶层人士北京市“优秀中国特色社会主义事业建设者”荣誉称号。共有8位北京市政协委员获此殊荣。他们作为首都新的社会阶层人士的代表,把加快自身企业的发展与服务首都的科学发展结合起来,把创造个人财富与实现共同富裕、促进首都和谐稳定结合起来,把遵循社会主义市场经济规则与践行《首都市民文明公约》等结合起来,在服务首都科学发展、促进首都和谐稳定等方面发挥了重要作用。
