近来参加《中国文化史》的编写,在收集材料的过程中,感到学术界过去在对夏商周三代文化的研究方面存在着不少薄弱环节。长期以来,学者的兴趣集中在人文荟萃的战国时代,对于更早时期的中国文化的源头则缺乏系统深入研究。就是在前一阶段的“文化热”中,这个问题也未引起足够的重视。这对于中国文化史的研究不能不说是一个遗憾。窃以为中国文化史的研究,目前亟需解决一个三代文化在中国文化史上的地位及总体特色的问题。个人不敏,试就这次编写工作的一些考虑,对上述问题谈一点认识,不妥之处请学者批评指正。
Recently, when I participated in the compilation of “History of Chinese Culture,” during the collection of materials, I felt that there were many weak links in the past in the study of the culture of the three generations of Xia, Shang and Zhou by academics. For a long time, scholars' interest has been concentrated in the era of the Warring States Period in which the humanities were concentrated. There is no systematic and in-depth study on the origins of the earlier Chinese culture. That is, in the “cultural fever” of the previous stage, this issue did not attract enough attention. It is a pity that we can not but say the study of Chinese cultural history. To steal the study of the history of Chinese culture, there is an urgent need to solve the problem of the status and general characteristics of one generation of three cultures in the history of Chinese culture.
