从对等理论视角,以《送友人》为例,探索其英译唐诗在意义、音韵和形式上与原诗的对等之美。唐诗英译要实现表层意义和深层意义的对等:深层意义往往蕴含于表层意义所传达的意象之中,因此意美的关键在于意象对等之美。英译唐诗还要充分尊重原诗的音韵和形式,才能在译语中实现音美形美对等,许渊冲充分发挥译语优势,以韵译韵,以偶译偶,实现了译文与原文的音美形美对等。三美有机结合,将唐诗的意境音韵完美展现在异域读者面前。
From the perspective of the theory of equivalence, taking “sending friends” as an example, this paper explores the beauty of equivalence between the English translation of Tang poetry and the original poem in meaning, phonology and form.
