吴欣虽然只有六岁,他的各方面能力已超过同龄的儿童,去年“六·一”儿童节,他在杭州市少年儿童音乐会上表演了手风琴独奏,并获得三等奖。吴欣的求知欲旺盛,记忆力很强。他已认识了一千多个汉字(不借助于拼音),能念几百首儿歌。还能自己查目录,津津有味地阅读“365夜儿歌”、“365夜故事”等较大本的书。他能背写出从上海到杭州铁路线上的大小站名,知道我国地图上各省、自治区首府的地理位置,他还能熟练地进行多位数加法、两位数减法的笔算,背出“九九表”,进行简单的乘、除运算。
