齿轮广泛应用于机械制造业、汽车拖拉机制造业及航天工业中,对齿轮的材料选择及热处理工艺流程,应根据齿轮的服役条件及工作情况来决定。近年来,齿轮向高速发展,为了使中、高速的齿轮具有强大的载荷能力,常采用合金渗碳钢来制造。我们用18CrNiWA钢来制造齿轮。这种钢由于镍的作用,在渗碳层中很少出现粗大的碳化物,渗碳层中碳浓度分布平缓,经渗碳淬火、冰冷及回火处理后,表面具有高的硬度和耐磨性,心部则有很高的强度和韧性,故常用于制造高速度、高负荷的齿轮。图1所示的高速高强度齿轮就是采用这种钢制造的,热处理后要求硬度为HV694~774,抗拉强度б_b为
