中华人民共和国成立四十年了.四十年来,全国人民在中国共产党的领导下,艰苦奋斗,把中国从一个贫穷落后的农业国,建设成为有完整的、门类齐全的工业体系的工农业国家.建国以来,我们经过“三年大跃进”和“文化大革命”两次大挫折,坐失了这二十年世界经济蓬勃发展的良好机会,1978年以后才急起直追.回顾四十年的历程,可以把它分为三年恢复时期和第一个五年计划时期、三年“大跃进”到“文化大革命”十年动乱时期、粉碎“四人帮”以后的经济振兴时期这样三个阶段来进行叙述.
