在国产工矿调车内燃机车二十几年来开发和运用的基础上，运用大量的设计计算和试验资料，特别是结合近几年来的发展，在对电力传动和液力传动工矿调车内燃机车的作业能力、作业效率、油耗、价格、可靠性和适应性等作了全面的比较和分析后指出：国产工矿调车内燃机车应继续大力发展液力传动。
