In order to evaluate the feasibility of improving the overall nutrient level of the mixed forest by using the seabuckthorn-mulberry mixed plantation in order to evaluate the restoration of the vegetation in the wasteland of the iron tailings area, the N, N and K concentrations in the aerial parts, roots and litter of the mixed forest , P, K, Ca, Mg content and storage, the determination of nutrient content in the soil around the roots of sea buckthorn and mulberry. The results showed that the content of N in root, stem, branch, leaf and skin of Hippophae rhamnoides L. was significantly higher than that of mulberry, especially the content of N in roots of different soil layers reached 3.03-4.33 times that of mulberry roots. The contents of Ca, Mg Content of P was higher than that of mulberry, P content was similar to mulberry, P, K, Ca and Mg contents of mulberry tops and K contents of roots were higher than those of seabuckthorn. The content of total N in soil around seabuckthorn root was higher than that of mulberry The average content of soil around root system was 1.88 times that of mulberry tree, and the total N content of 0-20 cm soil layer around the root system was 3.18 times of that of mulberry tree. The total nutrient storage capacity of tree, herb and litter in mixed forest was: Seabuckthorn > Litter> mulberry> herb, in which the nutrient reserves of seabuckthorn accounted for 56.10% of the total nutrient in mixed forest system. The results suggest that seabuckthorn plays a dominant role in the nutrient allocation of the whole mixed forest system, which can provide good space for the normal growth and development of mulberry. The mixed mode of seabuckthorn and mulberry mixed forest is a win-win mode of ecological and economic benefits.
