程甲本版画的特点在于:从构图看,整体构思是两个循环结构,单幅构图是“截取”和“拼合”的结合,并且充分借鉴和吸收前代版画的优秀成果。从寓意看,一是对文本进行形象化阐释,二是蕴含道德教化。程甲本版画和其他《红楼梦》版画相比,从一些构图的细微差别可以推知它们所依据的是不同版本。程甲本版画所附部分诗词评赞相比于同主题其他《红楼梦》版画诗词评赞笔力不足。
The characteristics of this print are: From the perspective of composition, the whole idea is a two-cycle structure.
