清朝初年,江苏常州城里出了个魏神医。有一次,魏神医到一个危重病人家看病,他走后病人枕头下放的十两银子不见了。病人的儿子怀疑是魏神医拿了,便捧了一炷香,跪倒在魏神医的门前。魏神医很奇怪,问他这是干什么。病人的儿子委婉地道出了疑情。没想到,魏神医听后痛快地承认了下来并拿出十两银子。半月后,病人痊愈。在彻底清理病床时,在褥子底下发现了那十两银子。于是,羞愧难当的父子俩又跪倒
