1986年日本冷冻协会的技术奖授与三菱电机公司开发的 ERA-B 系列分体式半封闭冷凝机组。该机组可采用三种制冷剂,R12时的工作温度为-15～+5℃(高温冷库,储藏果蔬和乳制品用),R22时为-20～-5℃(中温冷库,储藏果蔬、精肉、鲜鱼和乳制品),藏502时为-45～-15℃(低温冷库,作冷藏链、冷冻食品和冰淇淋用)。根据调查结果,这种冷凝机组52.60%安装在住宅区,75%装在屋面上,42%为5～10台安装在一处。因此按照低噪声、设计同房屋相结合以及采用多台组装以节省空间等原则。
