图里河林业局从一九七八年开始,组织大批待业青年上山搞抚育,六年来共抚育中幼林三十八万六千亩,是这个局前十八年抚育总面积的三倍。抚育伐质量均在九十分以上,连续六年保持二等伐区。抚育后提高了林分质量加快了林木生长。实践证明:组织待业青年搞幼中林抚育,既造就了一代新人,又培育了一代新林,走出了一条老局焕发青春、振兴林业之路。图里河林业局是一九五二年开发的。历经三十多年的过量采伐,年伐量逐年下降,一九八三年下降
