2003年12月17日,全省发展计划工作会议在湖南宾馆举行。省发展计划委员会主任陈叔红接受了本刊记者的采访。陈主任先后担任团省委副书记、郴州市委副书记、湘潭市市长、市委书记、省外经贸厅厅长、党组书记,2003年2月调任省发展计划委员会主任、党组书记。他就“加快湖南发展要树立新的发展观谈了自己的看法。

December 17, 2003, the province’s development plan work conference held in Hunan Hotel. Chen Shuhong, director of Provincial Development Planning Commission, interviewed our correspondents. Director Chen successively served as deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League, deputy secretary of Chenzhou City, mayor of Xiangtan City, secretary of the municipal Party committee, director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, secretary of the party group, transferred to the provincial development planning committee director and party secretary in February 2003. He talked about “accelerating the development of Hunan and setting a new outlook on development.”
