为了加强我军防疫队伍建设,适应平战时卫生防疫工作的需要,受总后卫生部委托,北京军区后勤部卫生部在该区军事医学研究所举办了全军第一期消毒、杀虫、灭鼠学习班。这期学习班于1980年10月8日开学,至12月26日结束。学员是来自各大军区、军兵种军事医学研究所、防检所、防疫队的专业技术骨干和部分军医院校的教员,共51人,同时为地方卫生防疫部门代训10人。
