On November 28, 2015, the seminar on traditional Chinese culture and the thought of Lao Tze held by the editorial department of Guangming Daily, the Laozi Cultural Popularization Education Center of China Association of Volunteers, and Shanghai Dianji University, hosted by Marxism College of Shanghai Dianji University, Nearly 70 experts and scholars from all over the country attended the meeting in Shanghai Lingang to thoroughly study and explore the modern value of Chinese traditional culture including Taoism.
