Phytochemical analysis of the n-BuOH extract from the seeds ofAllium cepa L.led to isolation of four furostanol saponins,two of which were new compounds,named ceparoside A(la)and ceparoside B(2a).The chemical structures of the new compounds were elucidated through a combination of NMR,MS spectral data and chemical analysis.
