中南劳动部一九五○年十二月间召开的各省市劳动局长会议席上,对工会法的执行情况进行了检查,并作出了决定,决定称:第一、工会法执行情况:工会法自一九五○年六月二十九日颁布后,各地一般的都展开了学习,有的结合整风,对工作进行了检查。通过工会法学习之后,在一部份工人群众中得到了良好的反映。如衡阳电信局工人说:「没有共产党,那有今天的工会法」,又有工人说:「工会法是工人的最好福利保障。」同时使一部份资方也增加了经营信心。
