近日,国家发改委所规划的以武汉城市圈、环长株潭城市群、环鄱阳湖城市群为主体的长江中游城市群,更是使这一地区未来发展更加为人瞩目。根据规划,长江中游城市群包括湖北、湖南、江西三省,涉及31个市,国土面积约31.7万平方公里,2014年实现地区生产总值6万亿元,年末总人口1.21亿人,分别约占全国的3.3%、8.8%、8.8%。有数据显示,在全国经济下行压力比较大的情况下,该地区有望保持9%以上的经济增速,正在成为经济发展新常态下中国经济新的增长极。
