1992年7月14日上午,中国图书馆学会四届一次在京常务理事会在北京大学图书馆召开。理事长刘德有同志主持会议。会议主要讨论了筹备第62届 IFLA 大会的有关问题,并讨论通过对学术研究委员会、编译出版委员会和《中国图书馆学报》等的人事聘任问题。首先,副理事长杜克同志通报了1996年第62届 IFLA 大会领导小组两次碰头会情况,并对有关决定作了说明。刘德有同志指出,1996年的 IFLA 大会是 IFLA 执行局委托我会在北京举办的,并已得到我国政府批准承担。承办这次大会充分表明我国国际地位的提高;也是进一步展示中国社会主义改革开放形象和图书
On the morning of July 14, 1992, the Fourth Session of the China Library Association held its first executive council in Beijing at the Peking University Library. Comrade Liu Deyou, chairman, presided over the meeting. The conference mainly discussed the preparation of the 62nd IFLA conference and discussed the adoption of the appointment of personnel for academic research committees, compilation and publication committees, and “China Library Journal”. First of all, Comrade Duke, Vice Chairman, briefed him on the two meetings of the leading group of the 62nd IFLA General Assembly held in 1996 and explained the relevant decisions.
