济阳县位于鲁北平原南部,黄河下游北岸,因古人称水之南为阴,水之北为阳而得名济阳。济阳东连惠民,北邻商河、临邑,西靠齐河,南部与济南、章丘隔黄河相望,地理位置优越,县境与济南市区仅3公里,是济南近郊县。全县辖6镇14乡,847个行政村,面积1076平方公里,耕地100万亩,属黄河冲积平原,土地肥沃。过境河流南有黄河,北有徒骇河,黄河流径县内长60公里,有大型引黄工程6座,徒骇河通过16条纵向沟渠形成南灌北排之势,农业生态环境
