超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)是一性能优良的耐磨材料。实验发现在对磨面粗糙情况下它也具极好的抗磨性能,因而很适用于铁路领域。但 UHMWPE 耐热性较差,因此通过适当的物理化学方法对其进行了改性得到了一种耐磨耐热性大为改善的新材料。和现有几种常用耐磨塑料的耐磨对比试验,证明其耐磨性远优于目前使用的耐磨塑料,而且也能满足使用温度要求。
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is an excellent wear-resistant materials. Experiments have found that in the case of rough grinding surface it also has excellent wear resistance, which is very suitable for the railway field. However, the heat resistance of UHMWPE is poor. Therefore, UHMWPE has been modified by suitable physical and chemical methods to obtain a new material with greatly improved heat resistance and wear resistance. And several existing wear-resistant plastic wear-resistant contrast test proved that its wear resistance is far superior to currently used wear-resistant plastic, but also to meet the temperature requirements.
