“In the past, we crossed the river by feeling the stones, and now we will walk away from the rocks.” “On January 20, in a tea house beside Tianma Huadu, Guangzhou, I and Mr. Chen Kaizhi drank an afternoon Tieguanyin. This is a rare talk time for the retired seventy-year-old. In 2005, he stepped down from the position of chairman of Guangzhou CPPCC. Before formal retirement, he delivered a speech entitled ”My Heart“ at the Guangzhou Municipal CPPCC Luncheon. He said: ”“ I am most gratified to review the experience of the past 40 years. Is to love, save people, help others, help others, believe in people but beware of villains, never the whole person, never harm. ”" Two minutes of applause. Those who have lived through that great era understand how hard it is to be able to do this whole political career.
