Sadness and outlier are typical reactions to the loss. If this reaction lasts long and gradually becomes intense, it is likely to be a symptom of depression in children. However, this situation is often overlooked. The mental state of children is not a reduction in the emotional response of adults. When children feel depressed, they often find it hard to express this emotion. Children’s depression manifestations vary from person to person, the broader range of symptoms, which makes it difficult for parents to make their appearance in time. Children respond differently to adults. When adults are depressed, they may look dull or stare somewhere easily; and children may not. Some children may suffer from “hidden” depression.
