1材料及方法1.1选优材料及自然概况 优树选择在陕西省油桐基地县之一的山阳县进行。供选优树的材料是当地的主要栽培品种大米桐和小米桐。 该地属凉亚热带山地气候区,年平均温度15.5℃,1月份平均气温9.1℃,7月份平均气温27.7℃,极端最高气温43.3℃,极端最低气温-6.8℃,≥10℃的有效积温4936.6℃,年降雨量747mm。土壤多为页岩、灰岩等发育成的沙壤上,桐林主要分布在海拔400～800m的中低山地域。经营方式以农桐间作为主。纯林作业采用一年一次全面垦复。
