近年来,采矿设备火灾事故逐渐增加,不仅影响生产,损坏设备(如自卸汽车、装载机、推土机、电铲、钻机、液压挖掘机、索斗铲和铲运机等),还严重威协司机的安全。由于机械化程度和采矿能力的提高,高压液压系统、大功率发动机(包括电机)的应用,设备连续运转,工作环境恶劣,机械运转故障以及维修不及时等,均能造成设备火灾的严重危险。完全消除火灾是不可能的,因此,必须备有防火装置。
