随着硅和硅铁生产在所谓“低成本”国家中持续增长,工业化国家的厂家们为保持竞争力正面临着新的挑战。不仅是电费问题,而且要在组织生产减少人工费用,以及利用现代技术在能耗、质量和为用户服务方面达到竞争性的生产效果。本文讨论了直接影响生产厂家技术和经济竞争的重要因素之一,即还原剂的选择和利用问题。到目前为止,许多厂家都是基于每单位固定碳的价格、可获量及成分来选择其还原剂。在炉子中的性能被看作是不重要的或不定的因素。本文叙述根据所生产的产品、炉子尺寸、炉类、操作特性和用途,一些试验程序如何用来从技术和经济上选择一种较好的还原剂混合料。讨论了为不久的将来所用的新型还原剂的来源问题。
As silicon and ferrosilicon production continue to grow in so-called “low-cost” countries, manufacturers in industrialized countries are facing new challenges in maintaining their competitiveness. Not only the electricity bill, but also the cost of organizing the production to reduce labor costs and the use of modern technologies to achieve competitive productivity gains in energy consumption, quality and customer service. This article discusses one of the important factors that directly affect the technical and economic competitiveness of manufacturers, namely, the selection and utilization of reducing agents. So far, many manufacturers have chosen their reductant based on the price, availability and composition of fixed carbon per unit. The performance in the furnace is seen as an insignificant or uncertain factor. This article describes how some test procedures can be used to technically and economically select a better reductant mixture based on the product being produced, the size of the furnace, the type of furnace, the operating characteristics and uses. Discuss the source of new reductants used in the near future.
