两千年来,翻译研究主要围绕“如何翻译”展开。直至二战结束前后,才开始出现翻译的“学”与“术”之分。这两者实际一直是各行其道。我国高校的翻译系科(专业)基本是以“术”为主要理由建立与发展起来的,目前,翻译“术”的开拓、发展、创新在我国正未有穷期,同时又必须开拓“学”的视野与地盘,以适应翻译这个专业在新世纪更为多样化的任务与角色。但我国的翻译系科或专业在这一点上处境尴尬:一方面,先天不足,国学基础弱;另一方面,外语专业院系培植译才的土壤似在日渐稀薄。因此,国内翻译系科(专业)有必要重新审视自己的建设与发展方向,明确本科、研究生、博士生三个阶段不同的培养目标,同时提倡多学科联合培养翻译研究方向博士生。翻译学位点的建立,也应真正体现学科交叉,不搞“近亲衍生”。

Therefore, it is necessary for the Department of Translation Studies (Professional) in our country to re-examine the direction of its own construction and development, clarify the different training objectives for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students in the three phases and at the same time advocate multidisciplinary joint training of doctoral students in translation studies. The establishment of translation study sites should also truly reflect the interdisciplinary and do not engage in “inbreeding”.
