Aerated concrete products are still a new type of building material that has only recently been developed in China. Since Beijing aerated concrete plant was put into production in 1967, its products have been used in other provinces and cities in addition to its heavy use in Beijing. The products used are roof panels, wall panels, block walls, floor slabs, etc.; the types of buildings used include industrial buildings, houses, schools, cold stores, canteens, shops, office buildings, warehouses, etc. We followed Chairman Mao’s teaching on “Summarizing Experiences Seriously” and conducted surveys and summaries of local practices.
