叶圣陶,名绍钧,中国文学家、教育家、出版家和社会活动家。1894年10月28日,生于江苏苏州吴县。1912年1月,毕业于苏州公立第一中学堂(草桥中学),次月任苏州中区第三初等小学二年级国文教员,校址在苏州干将坊言子庙初。1915年秋,到上海商务印书馆附设的尚公学校任高小教员,并为商务印书馆编小学国文课本。1917年任吴县县立第五高等小学教员。该校在苏州水乡甪直。在这里他和同事们试行教育改革。
Ye Shengtao, Ming Shaojun, Chinese writer, educator, publisher and social activist. October 28, 1894, was born in Wu County, Suzhou, Jiangsu. January 1912, graduated from Suzhou Public First Middle School (Caochiao Middle School), the second month of Suzhou No. 3 elementary primary school sophomore Chinese teacher, the site of the first cadre in Suzhou Qianzi Temple.
