Metabolic reprogramming is now recognized as an important cancer hallmark[1,2]. On one hand, metabolism alterations allow tumor cells to modulate epigenetic marks, thereafter drive cancer initiation[3-5]. On the other hand, tumor cells need to support the increased energy request due to rapid proliferation and maintain stress adaptation by altering their metabolism[6,7]. Therefore, cancer-specific metabolism and its regulatory pathways are potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.
