红叶谷生态文化旅游区位于济南市历城区仲宫镇,距济南市区33公里,占地4000余亩,是一处以生态和文化为主题的近郊风景旅游区。红叶谷在开发建设中以加强环境保护,促进可持续发展为前提,筑坝蓄水,涵养水源,实现了污水零排放;植树种草,增加植被,实现了植物多样性;使昔日的偏僻山谷变成了“湖光山色醉游人,畲鸣幽谷和乐章”的绝佳旅游胜地。景区的植被覆盖率高达98%,空气中负氧离子的含量是市区的300多倍,是一个天然氧吧。
