In this study, canine coronary stenosis model was used to observe the effect of coronary calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) on coronary hemodynamics in dogs with normal and varying degrees of coronary stenosis. The results showed that coronary artery The intracoronary injection of CGRP (0.3 μg / kg) increased coronary blood flow (CBF) and distal arterial pressure (DCP) to some extent, mean arterial pressure (MAP) decreased slightly and total coronary vascular resistance (R_T) , Large coronary vascular resistance (R_L) and small coronary vascular resistance (R_S) decreased. After 30 minutes of moderate coronary artery stenosis, there was no significant change of MAP and CBF, but decreased of DCP, R_T, R_L and R_S for 30 minutes; CGRP increased significantly after 30 minutes of severe stenosis, MAP increased from stenosis Decreasing into a gradual increase, DCP, R_T, R_L, R_S continued to decrease. The results suggest that CGRP can dilate the coronary arteries and increase the coronary blood flow so as to improve myocardial blood supply.
