“构建社会主义和谐社会”思想的形成确立,是我们觉执政理念的高度升华。邓小平同志在党的十二大开幕词中提出“建设有中国特色的社会主义”,首次为我们的革命和建设指明了前进的新方向。2002年党的十六大提出“全面建设小康社会”的奋斗目标,党的十六届三中全会提出科学发展观,强调以人为本,全面协调可持续发展,要求实现五个“统筹”,贯穿其中的一个重要思想,就是要努力实现整个社会各方面的和谐。在此基础上,党的十六届四中全会进一步提出“构建社会主义和谐社会”这一全新的价值目标。
The establishment of the idea of “building a socialist harmonious society” is a highly sublimated distillation of our idea of governing. In his opening speech of the 12th CPC National Congress, Comrade Deng Xiaoping proposed that “building socialism with Chinese characteristics”, for the first time, pointed out a new direction for our revolution and construction. In 2002, the 16th CPC National Congress proposed the goal of “building a well-off society in an all-round way”. The Third Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee proposed the scientific concept of development, emphasized people-oriented and coordinated and sustainable development in an all-round way. Five “co-ordination plans” Is to strive to achieve harmony in all aspects of society as a whole. On this basis, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee further proposed a new value goal of “building a socialist harmonious society.”
