This article elaborates the severe warnings of domestic and foreign scholars on the prediction of the grain deficit in China. Analyzes the prospect of China becoming a net food importer and the principle assumption of the reform of rural industrial structure. Put forward some misunderstandings about how to increase agricultural input and deepen the rural reform.
