Anthrax: As of November 1, 22 cases of anthrax were reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), of which 2 were diagnosed in Florida (all were inhalable anthrax); 4 were diagnosed in New York City (3 cases of skin anthrax, Infectious anthrax in 1 case), suspicious cases in 4 cases (both skin anthrax); New Jersey confirmed in 5 cases (2 cases of inhalation anthrax, 3 cases of skin anthrax), suspicious in 2 cases (both skin anthrax); Washington confirmed 5 Cases (all inhaled anthrax).
