说起何捷,福建的小语教师如雷贯耳,因为他囊括了福建省阅读教学、习作教学、基本功大赛三项冠军,只其一点,就让许多同行难以望其项背。放之全国,年轻的他又是全国阅读教学大赛的特等奖获得者,全国新作文联盟最年轻的盟主,可谓中国小语界新生代教师中的翘楚。与此同时,他还是福建省语文学会常务理事,福建省作协成员,兼任福建省小学语文专业委员会秘书长,这些社会履职更让他的教学生活变得丰富而多彩。
